About the Authors
David Hewitt, an established author and semi-retired professional engineer, with over three decades of experience and three Quality Director roles under his belt, dedicated his expertise to helping businesses enhance their quality systems- but his most transformative journey wasn’t found in a boardroom.
In 2020, David received a life-changing diagnosis: aggressive prostate cancer, rated Gleason 9. The news shocked his family and marked the beginning of an intense 18-month period of invasive treatments, emotional upheaval, and deep personal reflection.
Against all odds, David’s PSA levels became undetectable- a result even he found hard to explain. His recovery inspired The Journey That Changed My Life, a raw, honest, and profoundly moving account of facing cancer, embracing complementary therapies, and discovering a new path to wellness.

Michelle Bauduin is a professional Holistic health practitioner and Yoga instructor who has worked within the field of natural therapies and wellbeing for most of her life. She specialises in helping people to relax, reduce anxiety, restore energy, rebalance body systems, and learn how to increase their general wellbeing through the use of complementary therapies. A holistic approach to health & wellbeing takes into consideration the body as a whole, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Part 2 of this book shows how this approach helped David on his journey through recovery of prostate cancer and beyond.

My contribution to this book along with David, is with the aim to help prostate cancer suffers and men of all ages learn that ancient wellness techniques incorporated into everyday life can really make the difference in a positive away! We hope that by sharing this information it will make people aware that prevention is as important as cure..
