ANCIENT WISDOM FOR A MODERN DAY WORLD
Learning to have the ability to listen to one’s own body and mind and check in with ourselves daily is essential if we wish to improve our overall wellbeing. The following classes are based on my knowledge from training in holistic therapies, traditional Chinese medicine and Hatha yoga principles.
The classes include easy to use and simple to learn techniques, tips and exercises which can be incorporated into daily life, adding that bit of extra balance. By dedicating time for ourselves daily we can enjoy numerous health benefits and feel more in control of our lives. These classes are suitable for all conditions and abilities.
WELLBEING BASICS – General wellbeing & mobility
20 minutes a day for better your health – Naturally. An easy to use wellbeing routine is a great way to start the day, but can be used at anytime as part of a general health maintenance programme, remember that doing just a few things daily can make a difference.
Includes a gentle daily warm up routine for muscles, joints and internal organs which help support immune system function, energy balance and energy flow for vitality.
Helps improve posture and strength for everyday living.
MERIDIAN HEALTH STRETCHES – Flexibility, vitality, energy flow
Meridian stretches are part of traditional Chinese medicine and consist of a sequence of six specific stretches designed to facilitate and harmonize energy flow within the body’s internal organs. This helps to improve circulation, boost energy levels and support detoxification.
SELF CARE MASSAGE TECHNIQUES FOR HEALTH – Emotional wellbeing, health
Self massage is an important practice that helps reduce tension and stress. This type of massage therapy can be gently applied for body and mind and is highly beneficial for overall wellbeing.
Self care massages are easy to learn and can help reduce stress, improve circulation and enhance overall wellbeing.
DAILY QIGONG EXERCISES FOR BETTER HEALTH – Maintain & improve overall health, energy balance and vitality
Qigong is a form of ancient Chinese health exercise. Qigong gives life force energy and vitality. Gentle exercises encourage relaxation, deep breathing and overall health.
These classes can also be used as part of a preventative health programme which aids in protecting your overall health and wellbeing. Classes help to encourage positive lifestyle choices and to enhance healthy ageing.
Classes are gentle and available to most levels of fitness and health conditions.
Available for groups, workshops, events, online, or as part of a personalised wellbeing programme.
