ANCIENT WISDOM FOR A MODERN DAY WORLD
Learning to have the ability to listen to one’s own body and mind and check in with ourselves daily is essential if we wish to improve our overall wellbeing. The following classes are based on my knowledge from training in holistic therapies, traditional Chinese medicine and Hatha yoga principles. The classes include easy to use and simple to learn self help techniques, tips and exercises which can be incorporated into daily life, adding that bit of extra balance. By dedicating time for ourselves daily, we are giving our bodies a chance to do their best. It also helps us to be stronger, reduce recovery time during times of illness, helps to support immune system function and lift our mood…it’s worth a try ☺

An easy to use wellbeing routine is a great way to start the day, but can be used at anytime as part of a general health maintenance programme, remember that a little goes a long way and it’s what you do every day that counts…

Meridian stretches are part of traditional Chinese medicine and consist of a sequence of six specific stretches designed to facilitate and harmonize energy flow with their associated internal organs. This helps to increase function and vitality, unblock stuck energy and encourage the body back to balance.

Qigong is a form of ancient Chinese health exercise. All Qigong styles focus on cultivating and increasing the supply and flow of energy throughout the body. It is believed that regular practice helps the aging process and promotes longetivity. The practice also induces a calm mental and emotional state. Learn some simple Qigong movements to optimize energy circulation & restore balance of body systems. Physical movement and body tapping sequences help to stimulate circulatory systems and eliminate toxins. Gentle breathwork & visualization techniques help to focus mind and relax body.
